Distributed File System (DFS) provides to all CERN Users a centrally hosted file space. Default Windows home directories (My Documents), Workspaces, Departmental space, scratch space, etc. are offered on a self-service basis.

Requests for “file restore”, for backup of a file which was located on the CERN DFS network, must be made there.
