The Android service at CERN provides guidance for Android devices, including basic configuration and access to CERN resources.

Android smartphones/phablets/tablets are supported, but not centrally managed by the IT Android Support Team of the IT-CDA group.

This means that the user is in charge of the correct configuration and regular maintenance of his/her device, which has to be carried out based on the updates provided by software vendors.

Nevertheless, in the context of the Android Support, CERN is providing support for Android devices through the ServiceNow knowledge-base articles and support lines - see the right banner of this page.
